Almond Softwares ("Almond Softwares", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Forge Photo Editor mobile application (the "Application" or "Forge").

Forge is designed as an offline-first, privacy-focused photo editing and design application. Core image editing, rendering, retouching, masking, and supported on-device machine-learning functionality are designed to operate locally on your device.

Forge does not require you to create an account to use its core photo editing functionality.
We do not require you to provide:

On-device processing
Forge is designed so that core editing and image-processing operations occur locally on your device.

- Liquify
- Transformations
- Portrait editing

Almond Softwares does not upload your photos or edited images to its own servers for ordinary photo editing.
Your photos and editing projects may remain stored locally on your device according to your device's storage settings and the locations you choose when importing or exporting files.
3. On-Device Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Forge may use machine-learning models and computer-vision technologies that operate directly on your device.
These technologies may be used for features such as:
- Subject selection
- Sky selection
- Person segmentation
- Hair refinement
- Face detection
- Portrait editing
- Smart selections
- Object detection
- Image analysis
- Other supported intelligent editing features
Where these features use on-device models, the processing takes place locally on your device.
Forge does not transmit your photos, facial images, or image-analysis data to Almond Softwares servers for these on-device features.
Forge does not require a cloud AI account for supported on-device AI functionality.
4. Facial and Portrait Processing
Forge may provide portrait and facial editing functionality, including features such as:
- Face detection
- Face reshaping
- Skin smoothing
- Blemish removal
- Eye adjustments
- Nose adjustments
- Mouth and smile adjustments
- Jaw and chin adjustments
- Makeup effects
- Other portrait-editing functions
Where supported, facial detection and facial-feature processing are performed locally on your device.
Forge does not transmit facial images or facial-feature information to Almond Softwares servers for these on-device editing features.
Forge is not intended to create a persistent biometric identification database.
5. Device and Automatically Collected Information
Depending on the Application version and third-party services integrated into Forge, certain technical information may be processed automatically.

- Operating system and version
- Application version

- Mobile advertising identifier

Important: Almond Softwares does not use advertising SDKs to upload users' photos to Almond Softwares servers.
